With only two weeks out this year, we were very fortunate to be apart of last years experience. There wasn’t one person that crossed the paths of others where there wasn’t a deeper sense of connectivity in a community that self promoted its own furtherance. It’s always been about tomorrow. It’s a place you visit. It’s a destination, and not just geographically. You put your spirit out there and let go of inhibitions in an environment that harbours those ideals with others with the music that matters to you most. For the sake of reason and purpose this years lineup will surpass it all as far as underground festivals are concerned in Queensland and even Australia with DJ Deep, Frep P and DJ Nobu headlining this festival, and that’s even falling short of the national talent that’s been circumnavigating international attention of late. Really, it’s not the lineup or artists that is going to hit home heavily this year. It’s going to be so much more than that. It’s a way of life. The principals of common respect and love for others was always a foundation for the identity of what this festival has always been about. If your mind can dance with those ideals, then it’s probably this sonic space that suits you most. When you drive through those gates in the morning into a different Universe, it’ll make more sense. Then when you depart it kind of feels like you just were apart of this magical journey that coexists with everything around it every so often. This really is going to be something else, so lose yourself. You’ll see each other on the other side.
