Eomac’s first outing on Inner Surface Music is a powerfully built and complementing follow up to the labels brilliant release by Yves De Mey. Since debuting in 2013, Eomac has delivered a series of 12’s and a standout debut album last year on Killekill titled Spektre, garnering recognition and support from the likes of Aphex Twin to Ron Morelli, Thom Yorke and Anthony Naples.
As one half of the electronic duo Lakker, you’d be correct in expecting nothing short of pulsating murky electronic signals meticulously put together on this 12. The release is characterised throughout by textural pads, intertwined with colourful keys, distorted drums, rugged baselines and twisted rhythms. The EP is also complemented by a heavy and dynamic remix from Serbian artist Ontal.
