Darko Esser’s Wolfskuil Ltd returns after a hiatus of a year with a heavy hitter from Italian sound designer Edanticonf. This vinyl only release is a very personal statement from an artist known for his deep, dreamy and hypnotic take on electronic music. He made his mark in the music scene through pivotal releases on Silent Season and M_Rec Ltd.

Both cuts come heavily laden with a dub infused bottom end. Composed of heavy and murky grooves. Something that’s synonymous with Edanticonf’s sound design. 1989.1 is filled with sharp hats that are definitive and a snare thats anchored in reverb, floating along with a luscious string arrangement that make this cut a perfect set builder. On the flip, 1989.2 broadcasts a heavy signal thats more akin to the late night hour and with the pace and intensity that’s geared more toward the more experienced dance floors. It’s difficult to pick a favourite among the two here, and that’s a testament to Edanticonf’s skill as a producer.
