Two releases, nineteen tracks and the whole Highgrade cosmos of music. With the third installment of the “Group of Connected Heads”, the Berlin label brings together the entire range of it’s output into something that be- longs together: the most exciting and active electronic musicians of our time. As with both previous editions, Highgrade has been able to rely on a wide ranging network of our artists and friends, whose various musical voices and styles combine to create a single and cohesive whole.

“Group of Connected Heads Volume 3” works like a class reunion of a very special kind. As such we find Highgrade residents like Tom Clark, Todd Bodine, Jens Bond and Daniel Dreier, established colleagues like Markus Homm, Mihai Popoviciu and Dachshund. With Artists like PhonoKemi, Noah Pred and Prompt the collaboration is further intensified, while Ilario Alicante, Fabrizio Maurizi, Nico Lahs, David Delgado and Bloody Mary belong to an exciting new group of personalities for Highgrade.

The result is a diverse and pulsing work which immediately creates the de- sire to storm the nearest club. Once again proving that the folks at Highgrade have an innate feel for a completely harmonious compilation, which still strikes out with every beat in surprising musical directions. The title the “Group of Connected Heads” is more than just a catchy phrase: Each artist shows on this double release their very own musical skills and style, which are then bound together by the distinctive voice of the Berlin la- bel: Original, straight to the point and direct to the ears – a typical Highgrade record.
