This Week

featuring Dirty Stack from Paolo Mojo’s fantastic new EP – Play Your Hand – as well as some new dancefloor bombs from Layo & Bushwacka, Extrawelt, Hatiras and Xenia Beliayeva.

Behind The Mix

is a new section of the Kana Show where we attempt to reveal some of the secrets behind ‘the mix’ and illuminate some common mixing techniques.  Starting things off this week with a simple demonstration of 4 songs being introduced over 5-10 minutes as well as demonstrating the ‘High-pass’ filter – a commonly used device similar to EQ – which cuts out sound from the bass upwards.
