In December last year we spoke to Steve Rachmad about his Sterac guise and the acclaim that particular project has been garnering in recent years. Add all that with the 25 odd years of experience behind the Dutchman together with the 20 odd years behind the techno veteran that is Luke Slater and his Mote-Evolver label, and there isn’t really much left to say.
Expect nothing short of razor sharp hypnotic techno rhythms throughout this EP. An exercise in the correct way to abuse the limitations of Roland’s 808 and 909. Four cuts of mechanically driven techno that’ll rattle the foundations of any party.
This is more than just another release on a great label. It’s a celebration of two veterans coming together and reinforcing why they’re both at the top of their game.
